
For Optum, I was tasked with developing an illustration style that captures the brand’s core values of clarity, warmth, and humanity. The aim was to build a visual language that feels genuinely approachable and inclusive, while always remaining clear and consistent. From early concept sketches through to the final artwork, the focus was on supporting Optum’s commitment to compassionate and accessible healthcare.
Over 70 illustrations were created, covering a wide range of topics and scenarios. These formed the foundation of a versatile illustration library, designed to be used across various platforms and materials. The style brings everyday stories to life with clean lines, simple shapes, and a warm, optimistic colour palette. Characters are diverse and empathetic, ensuring the work resonates with a broad audience while maintaining a cohesive, recognisable look throughout.
